***Important Information: Please, if you have an SPD child or you know someone who does, read the comments section of this post. There is a very exciting offer from the founder of SI Focus magazine. If you’ve already read this entry, read the comments again anyway!!! There’s a free offer!!!
THANK YOU, Kathleen!!! ***
First off, I should let you know that I have absolutely no spine and therefore made the only choice possible in my SPD Magazine Subscription Contest, and chose NOT to choose. All of your answers were great, so I couldn’t handle the pressure of trying to decide who should win. Thus, I put all the names of those of you who entered into a basket, and told Little Man to pick one out.
But. Wait. First, Little Man wanted to know what all the little pieces of paper were and why I was folding them. Then I had to read each one to him. Then he asked why I was having a contest and what was I giving away and where was the magazine and could he please see it RIGHT NOW???!!!
So, 10 minutes of questions and answers later, he picked out a name.
Then he declared, “Mommy! I got number one, Mommy! I got number one! That means number one is the winner! And her name starts with “m” and ends with “a,” Mommy! Isn’t she lucky? Won’t she be so happy Mommy? She’ll be so glad I picked her name, Mommy!”
And so, without further ado (well, no ado that I’ll bore you with, anyway), the winner of the magazine subscription is:
…Melissa, at Mindless Mommy !!!!! Melissa, you’ll receive an email from me as well, but please note that I’ll need your name and mailing address before Friday, or the offer from the magazine runs out!
Thanks again to everyone for entering!
So here’s your question for today: What other types of Bloggy Giveaways have you entered in the past, and what kind of thing would you really like to win??

Hello Kia,
My name is Kathleen Morris, founder and publisher of S.I. Focus magazine. Carol notified me of the ingenious and generous offer you
made on your blog to share the free subscription that I give away with your follow bloggers. Well, congratulations to Melissa for winning, however, I would like to offer a free copy of one our back issues that are still available to each of your bloggers. All they have to do is go to the store on our website at http://www.SIfocus.com, then look through the back issues and pick one that they would like to receive. THEN, they must contact me on my personal email at: kesm@sbcglobal with the issue they would like and their mailing address. That’s it. If they would like to participate in our National Sensory Awareness Month campaign coming up in October, I will also email them a volunteer packet with ideas to help raise awareness in their community. I would further like to extend
this offer to any of your bloggers who have their own blogs and would like their readers to receive a back issue and find out about NSA Month.
Together we can all increase awareness about sensory issues to improve the lives of other families. Thank you for your awesome idea to share!!

Sorry, GF. Like I said before, please don’t blame me. It’s totally the 4-year-old’s fault. Let’s lay down the blame where it belongs! hahhaha!
Melissa, yay! I’m glad you are so happy to have won.
Kathleen, this is a generous offer and I’m sure a lot of my readers will take advantage of it. Thank you soooo much for providing this opportunity!

Cool! I already am a subscriber, but I have been eyeing some of the past issues. I can’t wait to take advantage. I will pass the word to my sister and a friend who both have kids with SPD. Thanks!!
